For more than 14 years, Kingsley Akonwie has carried a quiet but unshakable conviction, a calling not for power, but for service. A calling to restore dignity where it has been lost, to rebuild trust where it has been broken, and to lead Cameroon into a new dawn of justice, unity, and prosperity.

Rooted in faith, shaped by resilience, and guided by a love for people above all else, Kingsley steps forward, not as a politician, but as a servant of destiny. With humility, he accepts the weight of responsibility to contest for the Presidency of Cameroon in 2032 under the banner of the movement he founded: The Freedom and Economic Movement (FREEDEM), a movement born to give every Cameroonian a voice, a choice, and a future worth believing in.

From Humble Beginnings to Global Understanding

Raised with the timeless values of hard work, honesty, and service, Kingsley’s journey has been one of perseverance and vision. From humble beginnings, he grew to become a multifaceted leader across industries, real estate, publishing, media, agriculture, and philanthropy proving with his own life that Cameroonians can rise and excel when given the chance.

Currently based in Canada, Kingsley has immersed himself in acquiring skills that will directly serve Cameroon’s future, skills in real estate development and management, road maintenance and integrity, the rule of law, and political leadership. He is actively building alliances with the leadership offices of Singapore, El Salvador, and key influential leaders of integrity worldwide, learning from their models, being mentored by their vision, and preparing to return with knowledge and strategies that will strengthen Cameroon’s institutions, empower communities, and drive national transformation.

Yet, through all these experiences, his heart has never left Cameroon. His mission remains clear: to bring back what he has gained abroad, marry it with our cultural wisdom, and build a Cameroon that works for its people.

A Vision for a Reborn Cameroon

Kingsley Akonwie believes that Cameroon stands at the dawn of a new era. By 2032, a new generation ,over 13 million youth strong , will be ready to take their rightful place in shaping the nation’s destiny. This moment in history is not one to be feared but embraced, for it holds the promise of renewal, unity, and progress.

His vision is clear:

A Cameroon reborn ,unstoppable, united, and rooted in purpose.

A Cameroon where leadership is about service, not self-interest.

A Cameroon where power protects the vulnerable, not oppresses them.

A Cameroon where Infrastructure and Innovation  connects us to the future.

A Cameroon where young people find opportunity and purpose at home, not abroad.

A Cameroon where Justice and Integrity as the immovable foundation of governance.

A Cameroon where families prosper, farmers flourish, and workers are rewarded for their labor.
A Cameroon where women walk in safety, purpose, and dignity , no longer silenced or sidelined.

A Cameroon that does not discourage its industries with heavy taxes, but nurtures them to thrive.
A Cameroon where justice is real, leadership is accountable, and institutions truly serve the people.

A Cameroon where there is  Hope and Dignity for every citizen, regardless of tribe, language, or region.

To every youth with unfulfilled dreams, every mother holding hope in her heart, every father weary from struggle, and every elder longing to see peace before their final rest, together, we will rise with FREEDEM. The time for despair is over. The time for freedom is now.
